Integrity and ethical behaviour are core Public Service values that must be reinforced through our recruitment processes.
We need to apply the right checks when employing people, and ensure that any serious integrity issues are disclosed. This is important in maintaining the public’s trust and confidence in the Public Service.
The workforce assurance model standards outline expectations for Public Service departments and statutory Crown entities when recruiting staff. They also set out expectations for serious misconduct investigations and settlement agreements.
