  • Strengthening actions (through DEI plans and strategies) and reporting to create diverse, fair and equitable Public Service workplaces to meet the needs of all New Zealanders.
  • Ensuring diversity of thought and representation so that the Public Service is able to support and deliver for communities efficiently and effectively.
  • Eliminating bias and discrimination from all policies, practices and processes.
  • Continuing to strengthen and embed action to close all pay gaps and keep them closed, accelerating action to close pay gaps for wāhine Māori, Pacific and ethnic Public Servants and those from disabled and Rainbow communities.
  • Harnessing the knowledge and experience of Employee-led Networks and diverse groups to contribute to organisation-wide and system goals to improve the design and delivery of public services.
