- Strengthening actions (through DEI plans and strategies) and reporting to create diverse, fair and equitable Public Service workplaces to meet the needs of all New Zealanders.
- Ensuring diversity of thought and representation so that the Public Service is able to support and deliver for communities efficiently and effectively.
